My name is Lauren and I started this blog to share my passion for hair, beauty, fashion, and self care. My natural hair journey began in college which was also trans-formative in my acceptance of who I am and how I am naturally. I hope to continue to discover more aspects of myself and I hope we can go on this journey of self discovery together!

I live in the D.C. metropolitan area. I started my career as a Trauma ICU Registered Nurse and have always had a desire to help others. Working in this specialty I see the fragility of life every day which sparked my fire to never take things for granted. Every moment is a gift, so LIVE! With each breathe and heartbeat we have purpose so we have to take advantage of that gift.
