Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial
I have shared on my social media how obsessed I’ve become over Drunk Elephant skincare. What drew me to this brand was it’s philosophy of limiting ingredients to the most essential and naturally derived. I have been trying to make a lifestyle change of monitoring what I consume and use, ensuring that it is the best for me and as natural as possible. Drunk Elephant is a clean skincare brand that is very concious of the ingredients they use. They call some of the major ingredients you find in a lot of skincare products like fragrance, dyes, silicones, and alcohols the ‘Suspicious Six’. It was refreshing for me to see a brand be aware of their products and be inclusive of all skin types. Not to mention the packaging is absolute LOVE!
The TLC Sukari Babyfacial will have your skin looking and feeling dramatically different. It contains 25% AHA and 2% BHA I jokingly call it an at home chemical peel. It contains Lactic, Salicyclic, Glycolic, Tartaric, and Citric Acid. The combination of these acids help to gently resurface, and chemically exfoliate your skin by lifting dead skin cells revealing a smoother texture. Don’t worry it’s not all about the acids it also contains apple fruit and matcha tea with plant oils to help moisturize your skin. Chickpea flour combines in this formula to aid with brightening and balancing the skin.
Babyfacial claims to dramatically smooth texture, minimize the look of fine lines, wrinkles and pores and boost overall clarity—revealing fresh, radiant, baby-soft skin. Let’s put that to the test! In my recent Masking Monday video listed below I share my plan to do a ‘Babyfacial challenge’ by documenting before and after pictures while using the treatment once a week for 2 months. Here’s the start no filters no edits just my bare skin before using the Babyfacail and immediately after rinsing off and patting dry.
Follow my progress on my Instagram I will post weekly updates in my Instagram Story and I will do a full update post on here after the Babyfacial challenge is over. Anyone else want to join in? Comment below if you’re down to go on this skincare journey below. Have you tried Drunk Elephant products before? What products? Don’t forget to check out my Masking Monday video and share with a friend!
